In April of 2020, my wife and I were living in Eugene, when my former pastor asked me to replace him as lead pastor. Jenny and I felt the leading of the Holy Spirit to make the move to Roseburg. That summer, in the midst of Covid, we felt led, once again by the Lord, to step out in faith and plant a school! We felt an urgency to help the community, as many schools were shut down, and a solution was needed. By what can only be explained as the hand of God, we launched in 4 weeks and had almost 80 kids that first year. From that moment on, it has been an ongoing love and mission for my wife and I to provide a Christ-centered education for children in Douglas County.   

I received my Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Southern Oregon University. I have worked as both principal and teacher at Calvary Christian Academy for the past 4 years, teaching middle school Science, P.E, English, Bible, and 5th grade. 

I am a very blessed husband and father of 7 kids. In my free time, I love outdoor recreation, with a special love for paddleboarding and playing pickleball.
