Ben Bennett

Middle School Math Teacher

I have had the pleasure of being the youth pastor at Roseburg Christian Fellowship for almost four years. When I was in High School, I began attending the youth group at RCF, and God used that ministry mightily to call me back to living a life dedicated to Him. Since then, whether at college, or working different part or full time jobs, God has given me a desire to build up young people in their faith; to teach them the truth of God’s word, and the blessing of following His instructions.
Last year when CCA moved to RCF, I had the honor of teaching Bible classes for the middle school and high school students. No matter what subject, teaching young people is an opportunity for me to encourage them in the promises of God. It’s an opportunity to assure them that if they do things, whether enjoyable or difficult, with all their heart, as unto the Lord, it will be a blessing to them.
I love the mission of CCA and the vision that Travis and Jenny have for the school. In every subject, be it mathematics, language, history, etc., the purpose is to give young people an understanding of the truth, to teach them how to know when something is untrue, how to find out the truth themselves, and how to live by it. I love that mission, and am excited to work together with the rest of the teachers and staff of CCA to accomplish it.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University, with a minor in economics, and a certificate in applied finance and economics.

I am blessed to be a husband to a wonderfully godly woman, and father of three beautiful children. I love to hike, rock climb, and play ultimate frisbee. I love books, particularly adventures whether historical or fictional, board games, camping, and I love to introduce people to stories or games that I enjoy.
